Both open-wheel programs start at 7 p.m.

Following their own Super DIRT Week appearance earlier in the afternoon on the Syracuse Mile, top Small-Block point chasers will travel across town to Rolling Wheels for round number 12 in the 13-race Mr. DIRTcar 358 Series, a 100-lapper paying $4,000 to win. The 30-lap Mr. DIRTcar Series showdown on Friday will be the 12th stop along the 14-race Sportsman trail.

The arrival of the winged sprinters on Saturday night of Super DIRT Week is expected to attract one of the biggest crowds ever to the fabled ‘Fast Track’. A race record field of 68 sprinters filled the RWR pits last October with Ontario, N.Y.’s Chuck Hebing sweeping the night’s action by winning his heat, dash and leading all 25 laps of the A-Main to take home over $3,000. Officials from URC and ESS ran the entire show off in just two hours and forty-five minutes.
