Triple Big-Block Mod 50s Headline 21st World Series Weekend At Rolling Wheels

Continued to be recognized among the biggest shows on the entire DIRTcar Racing NorthEast calendar, the high-speed World Series of DIRT Track Racing Weekend at Rolling Wheels Raceway Park will once again be one of the best attended on both sides of the fence.
With this year's 21st edition remaining a two-day format, Sept. 21-22, and still offering thousands of dollars to feature race qualifiers, an impressive number of entries are expected to sign in for Rolling Wheels' annual autumn showdown. The headline Advance Auto Parts Super DIRTcar Series event for Big-Block Modifieds will once more run under the lights at the ‘Fast Track,’ with Triple 50-lap feature races highlighting the 2007 program.
On Friday, RWR pit gates unlock at 3 p.m. and grandstands open at 5 p.m. Practice kicks off trackside activity at 6:05 p.m. and Integra Shocks Time Trials for 358-Modifieds start at 6:30 p.m. followed by heat race qualifiers for the companion DIRTcar Street Stocks. 99.3 The Wall feature race action includes 25 laps in the Caprara Bros. Outdoor Toy Store Mr. DIRTcar Street Stock Super Series with Hoosier-Sunoco Mr. DIRTcar 358-Modified point chasers contending in a 75-lap finale with an automatic starting berth awarded for the Syracuse 150 Championship on Oct. 6 of Super DIRT Week XXXVI.
A big Budweiser DIRTcar tripleheader for Big-Block Modified, Sportsman Modified and Pro Stockers makes up the Saturday show with Pits opening at 1 p.m. and practice beginning at 3:50 p.m. for all divisions. Integra Shocks Modified Time Trials run off at 4:25 p.m. followed by heat races. The Advance Auto Parts Modified Series 50s will be mixed in among the Mr. DIRTcar Championship twin 30-lappers for Sportsman and Pro Stock divisions.
Tickets prices for the two-day affair are Friday, September 21-Adult GA (15-64 yrs) $20, Senior Citizens (65 yrs + over) $18, Kids (10-14 yrs) $5 and Children 9 years and under Free. On Saturday, September 22-Adult GA $25, Seniors Citizens $23, Kids $5 and Children (9 yrs. + under) Free.
All the top Mr. DIRTcar title contenders have already signed up for Rolling Wheels' biggest racing weekend of the season. Tim Fuller (Mod), Mario Clair (358), Joe Williams (Spt), Pete Stefanski (Pro) and Scott Smith (Sts) top the overall Mr. DIRT points charts heading into Friday action. Brett Hearn (Mod), Alan Johnson (358), Shawn Donath (Spt), Denis Gauvreau (Pro) and Mike Welch (Sts) are the defending race winners, with 170 registering for the five star show one year ago.
RWR World Series Weekend traditionally ends the points season at Rolling Wheels. Rolling Wheels closes out its 39th season during Super DIRT Week '07 with two more big events on Oct. 5-6. A 358-Modified/Sportsman Mr. DIRTcar Series Championship twin-bill headlines the Friday night card before the annual Sprint Car Challenge takes center stage Saturday.
