Brisk Opening Day Ticket Sales For World Of Outlaws Sprints At Rolling Wheels Weedsport, NY – April 4, 2006 – By Tom Skibinski, DIRT NorthEast PR Director Tickets for the World of Outlaws Sprint Series showdown at Rolling Wheels Raceway went on sale Monday, April 3 at DIRT MotorSports Northeast Headquarters. Reserved seating for the annual ‘Sprint Car Spectacular’ on May 30 can still be obtained in advance for $33 while the general admission price is $30 on raceday. Amidst the Outlaws' 29th season of nationwide competition, Rolling Wheels will host the winged warriors Tuesday, May 30. A special appearance by the Patriot Sprint Group will complete the big doubleheader with the WoO stars contending for a $10,000 top prize and PSG regulars chasing the $1,200 lion’s share. For the 19th consecutive year Rolling Wheels takes center stage as the nationally renowned World of Outlaws Sprint tour makes its annual visit to the Empire State. The 2006 edition marks the 28th invasion of the Elbridge, N.Y. oval for the 'Greatest Show On Dirt' with Lynn Paxton capturing the inaugural A-main in 1980. Rolling Wheels closes out the first WoO Sprint Series swing of the season through New York State following the lead-off event scheduled at Orange County Fair Speedway on May 29. The top touring sprint teams return to the Empire State for another DIRT doubleheader at Lebanon Valley Speedway (July 23) and Fulton Speedway (July 25). The 26th DIRT Challenge Cup on May 7 opens Rolling Wheels' 38th consecutive season of oval-track operation. The lead-off program features twin $3,000-to-win 50-lap Advance Auto Parts Modified Super DIRT Series races for big-block Modifieds plus 20-lap Sportsman and 15-lap Street Stock main events. Orders continue to be taken at DIRT NE Headquarters (315/834-6606) for 2006 Season Passes and reserved camping permits at Rolling Wheels. RWR Season Passes, including reserved stadium seats, are $170.00 each for adults, $155.00 each for senior citizens 60 and older, and $85.00 each for students (11-18 yrs.). Reserved parking spaces between turns one and two are also now being offered at $100.00 each for the season.
