A July to Remember; Super DIRTcar Series Stars Invade Central NY

Weedsport,NY- The fastest 4th of July action will be at Rolling Wheels Raceway. For racing fans, the place to be is Rolling Wheels Raceway as they play host to the Super DIRTcar Modified Series Stars and Stripes 100.

The Stars and Stripes 100 will be the ONLY 100 lap Super DIRTcar Modified Series race of the season at Rolling Wheels Raceway. Fans are encouraged to make RWR their 4th of July party destination. Not only can fans take advantage of the Holiday weekend in the beautiful FInger Lakes region, but they can also enjoy trackside camping at one of the fastest tracks in the area.  

Racing fans will enjoy a full show from the drop of the green flag at 6pm. Not only will they have the one and only chance to see the Super DIRTcar Modified Series race at Rolling Wheels Raceway, they will also enjoy the DIRTcar Sportsman, DIRTcar Stock Cars, and teh Midstate Vintage Stock Car Club. After a night of side by side racing action fans of all ages will be wowed by a spectacular fireworks presentation.

Adult general admission grandstand tickets for the Stars and Stripes 100 are $22 each, Senior Citizens (65 yrs + over) $20, Students (10-18 yrs.) $9 and children (9 yrs. + under) Free. The July racing excitement continues a few short weeks later at Cayuga County Fair Speedway for the Super Summer Spectacular, DIRTcar All-Star Weekend. With the level of excitement rising fast for the return of this marquee event, tickets are going fast and fans are encouraged to get their reserved seats on-line at www.dirtcar.com/tickets. Purchase a two-day (Fri-Sat) reserved ticket for All-Star Weekend now at only $39, and receive a FREE Pit Pass to Friday's event. This will be the ONLY way to get a free Pit Pass, and the offer expires July 5th, 2010. The second edition of DIRTcar All-Star Weekend, will not only attract the premier Big-Block Modified teams in the region competing for over $100,000 in prize money, thousands of fans are anxiously awaiting their chance to see the Mr. DIRTcar Sportsman Series and the Parts Plus DIRTcar Stock Cars Parts Tri-Track Series.

Last Season second-generation standout Ryan Phelps made the inaugural ASW 100 one of the memorable series events as he held off the best in the Big-Block business in Tim Fuller, Matt Sheppard, Brett Hearn, Billy Decker and Jimmy Phelps to score the historic $20,000 victory.

Action at nearby Brewerton Speedway kicks off the extended DIRTcar All-Star Weekend, but on Friday the action heats up at Cayuga County with a $3,000-to-win 50-lapper before racers return to the 3/8-miler on Saturday to conclude the richest short-track event in the country for Big-Block Modifieds.
